About the role
- Proactively sell AT&T’s mobility solutions and fiber-based broadband network to small and mid-market businesses.
- Generate new revenue by hunting and prospecting within the territory through sales calls, networking, and relationship building.
- Deliver customized, value-added solutions that address client business priorities.
- Generate leads independently via external networks, cold calling, and door knocking.
- Conduct customer visits in the field and collaborate with the team from the assigned office location when not in the field.
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.
- Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections and identify key trends.
- Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present beneficial products and services to customers.
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue of assigned complex accounts.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for outside telecommunications sales.
- Experience and knowledge in fiber broadband technology and mobility products and services.
- Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems.
- A valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to meet the transportation needs of the market.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets.
