💰 $90,000 - $100,000 per year
About the role
- Review and negotiate standard agreements including NDAs, marketing, influencer, and after-sales service agreements
- Support litigation discovery, including collection and production of documents and communication with outside counsel
- Organize and coordinate responses to document requests, subpoenas, and records requests for civil, administrative, and criminal matters
- Represent the legal department internally and respond to employee inquiries about processes and procedures
- Assist with operations: outside counsel engagements, outside counsel billing, policy and procedure development, and requests for executed contracts
- Organize, label, and file contracts and case materials
- Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries from employees and internal and external legal counsel
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant paralegal experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree with paralegal certificate
- Highly organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive "can-do" attitude
- Proven ability to handle complex and highly confidential matters with discretion
- Independent self-starter
- In-house legal department experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Chinese (preferred)
