• Directly support an assigned group of up to 150 students from enrollment through elementary promotion
• Serve as the point of contact for student onboarding after initial enrollment

High School Digital Learning Success Coach

Learning and Development

• Work closely with the other Learning Specialists to ensure best practices are in place for daily school operations.
• Access student databases to retrieve student information and run reports.
• Serve as project lead for tasks and initiatives in support of the school operations.
• Assist in preparing and distributing school family and faculty correspondence.
• Manage multiple state certification process for faculty.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions including designing organizational and operational systems for use internally to ensure adherence to partner-specific needs.
• Serve as an instructional coach for assigned instructional staff.
• Provide individualized support to students based on identified risk factors including academic, socio-emotional, and other potential issues, and helps to develop individual plans for success for specific, at-risk students.
• Conduct ILP progress sessions with specific, at-risk students and their families.
• Support instruction by providing email and grading feedback to students, as applicable, during teacher absences.
• Closely track students’ progress, through communication and analytics, to ensure class attendance and academic progress.
• Collaborate and provide communication with students, families and instructors.
• Work with partner facilitators as needed to ensure student success and teacher efficacy as well as ensure school operations meet their expectations.

Global Learning Specialist

Math Teacher

• Delivers instruction in reading, writing, spelling, language and vocabulary, math, science, social studies, technology, counseling, study skills, health, problem solving, foreign languages, ESL, family and consumer sciences, physical education, music, chorus.
• Determines instruction techniques, strategies, methods and adapts curriculum and learning styles to meet and assess student’s needs.
• Maintains open lines of communication with parents/guardians about academic and discipline issues through various mediums including phone calls, notes, progress reports, etc.
• Meets regular and predictable attendance requirements.
• Developing activities and resources, strategies and methods for a variety of teaching, creating lesson plans and substitute teaching plans that are aligned learning objectives with the school guides.
• Develops, analyzes, adjusts, and implements ILP for students to accommodate instruction based on assessment and determining correct assessment tool and appropriate level to use.
• Assess and evaluates performance, behavior, and progress of students in grades, progress reports and assessing comprehension of learning objectives.
• Maintaining confidentiality of protected student and staff member information even after no longer employed or enrolled.
• Assisting in the well-being of students the fundamental value in all decision making.
• Contributes to professional growth of self and colleagues including sharing and planning curriculum, staying current with educational trends, and continuing professional growth to meet the state and school requirements including current teaching certificates.

Digital Teacher, Middle School Math

Digital Assistant

• Assists the Principal in administrative and instructional leadership of the School.
• Participates in a continuing professional development program, maintaining a high level of competence in the field of education.
• Serves as an administrative and co-supervisory official of the school by working closely with the instructional staff to improve educational outcomes for all students.
• Utilizes/relies heavily upon communication technologies and practices that most effectively support a predominantly virtual / remote work environment;
• Prepares and/or collaborates with the Principal for the creation of all data reports, master teaching schedules, records, and other data to improve educational outcome for all students.
• Selects and recommends for hiring school personnel who demonstrate an enthusiasm, professional background, and understanding of the ASU Prep way.
• Maintains high standards of student safety and conduct, and enforces discipline as necessary in accordance with School Committee policy and students’ rights to due process.
• Uses evaluation for self-improvement; carries out Performance Improvement Plans when necessary
• Communicates and implements the ASU Prep philosophy and vision with the school and community.
• Assists in the analysis of all data associated with students and parents (test results, on-going progress monitoring, parent satisfaction, discipline infractions, absences, tardiness, etc.)
• Utilizes and analyzes data to assist in developing and monitoring a school plan and the educational goals.
• Assists Principal with monitoring instruction through review of lesson plans, instructional delivery, feedback to staff on instructional strategies and conducting formal evaluations.
