About the role

  • Providing inspirational leadership and direction to the Sales Team to successfully exceed performance objectives
  • Building strategic and long-term partnerships with relevant Oncology influencers and decision-makers
  • Collaborating across functional areas to drive positive patient outcomes aligned with organizational objectives
  • Discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships, identifying strategic business opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions
  • Developing an impactful team through effective coaching and mentoring in a highly competitive environment
  • Building a motivating team culture that encourages growth, recognition, and continuous self-development

Requirements

  • A university degree
  • A minimum of 7-10 years pharmaceutical experience with at least 2 years of experience as a sales representative or in a customer-facing role and 3+ years of team/people leadership experience
  • A track record of strong sales performance in Oncology or specialty care (previous experience in lung or breast indications would be an asset)
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, financial management skills, and excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Adaptability and strong advocacy for change
  • Ability to travel to manage sales teams across Canada
  • A fully valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
  • Experience launching new products or indications in a highly specialized market (Oncology, Specialty Care)
  • Previous exposure/experience in other functional areas of the business (e.g., Sales Training, Customer Solutions, Diagnostics, Sales Operations, Marketing)
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering a cross-functional solution-based approach (KAM)
