About the role
- Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters, providing guidance and support to drive optimal performance in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent.
- Further develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that align with Astrana Health’s overall talent acquisition goals, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber candidates at all levels.
- Personally manage the recruitment process for senior-level, mission-critical roles across the organization, including direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Instill a "raise the bar" mindset across the Talent Acquisition function, encouraging recruiters and hiring managers to continually seek candidates who bring added value, innovation, and leadership to their teams.
- Contribute to performance metrics for the Talent Acquisition team, holding team members accountable for meeting hiring targets and maintaining high standards of candidate quality and experience.
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, align recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless, consultative hiring process.
- Continuously assess and optimize the recruiting process, including candidate experience, time-to-fill, and quality of hire, to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Champion initiatives to attract and hire a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflecting the values and mission of Astrana Health.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles, preferably in healthcare or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of recruiting metrics, with a focus on continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ability to influence and drive change, with a track record of raising the bar on hiring standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
