About the role
- Set up and manage HR systems, policies, and documentation
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy
- Design for scale: identify bottlenecks, eliminate manual work, and improve process resiliency so that processes stay reliable as volume grows
- Monitor data integrity and implement proactive audits to detect and correct errors in our systems and processes
- Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes
- Partner with managers on feedback, development, and retention
- Design and run onboarding programs for new hires
- Act as the go-to person for employee queries and support
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
- Manage payroll inputs, benefits administration, and vendor coordination
- Reinforce consistent application of HR policies and procedures by providing process guidance and escalating issues appropriately
Requirements
- Strong ownership mindset—you’re comfortable building from scratch
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with HR tools (Ashby, Rippling)
- Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Familiarity with AI tooling and automation processes
