About the role
- Build: Help design and execute on partner strategy and operating models.
- Qualify - Identify partner orgs and creative paths which unlock meaningful growth opportunities for Assort and our mission.
- Source & Close: Drive net-new channel deals that produce revenue and create pipeline. Unlock net new revenue streams through strategic partnerships.
- Integrations: When necessary, define scope with cross-functional partners in product and engineering, including APIs, data flows, SLAs, and security where appropriate.
- Partner Management: Run point on strategic planning, regular check-ins, and execute on warm intro’s.
- Enablement: Create playbooks, demos, decks, and solution briefs for partners and Assort’s sales team to leverage.
- Co-Marketing: Plan announcements, events, webinars, and case study collaborations across partners and our Marketing team.
- Pipeline Generation: Nurture your network of partners to generate qualified opportunities and pipeline for our partners in sales.
- Scale Systems: Build processes and reporting that scale with Assort’s growing headcount and revenue growth.
- Leadership: Work closely with the VP of Partnerships to design, iterate, and build out the Partnerships team and our impact across the broader org.
Requirements
- Experience Mix: 3-5+ years in Partnerships, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales. Experience in health tech is a bonus
- Deal Skills: Demonstrated & proven abilities across sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing. Comfort managing your own pipeline of Partner deals is a must.
- Technical Basics: Comfortable with APIs, security (SOC II, Type II), and privacy (HIPAA)
- Operator Mindset: Build and manage repeatable processes, metrics, and clean reporting.
- Communication: Clear writing, strong presentations, and executive presence. Communicates effectively to senior leadership across both partners and customers.
- Detail & Drive: High attention to detail, urgency, and ownership in fast-changing environments.
- Metrics driven: Measuring your results and output excites you; you enjoy the challenge and know how to drive tangible outcomes for the business
- Comfort w/ Ambiguity: Demonstrated ability to prioritize your own time, manage competing priorities, and roll with the flow of a fast growing, Series B startup
- Incentives: You deeply understand how incentives drive behaviors and know how to leverage them thoughtfully.
- Travel Ready: Willing to travel for partner meetings and industry events
- Network: Useful relationships across private equity, venture-funded health techs, and healthcare consultants a bonus, but not required.
