About the role
- Oversee underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management for commercial and corporate banking relationships
- Ensure the quality and growth of client portfolios while identifying new business opportunities
- Manage credit risk and portfolio quality by analyzing financial data and loan requests to ensure compliance with policies
- Partner with Relationship Managers to build and expand client relationships through cross-selling and referrals
- Oversee loan repayment and portfolio administration, taking action on past due accounts as needed
- Lead loan structuring, renewal processes, and participate in credit approval presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams across Treasury Management, Private Banking, Capital Markets, and more to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Advise clients on market trends and banking products to support their business growth
- Participate in community and industry functions to promote the bank’s presence and reputation

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years in Commercial, Corporate, and/or Credit Approval experience
- 4+ years handling complex credit approvals
- Reliable transportation and lawful driving ability by start date
- Preferred: 2+ years sales experience
- Preferred: 2+ years formal credit training
- Preferred: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification
