About the role
- Preparation and review of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets for each division
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations; participate in audits and IFRS transition
- Month-end close: GL reconciliations, journal entries, salary and department cost allocations, accruals, provisions, payroll and tax reporting
- Financial reconciliations, P&L analysis, and preparation of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, identify trends, opportunities, and risks to inform management decisions
- Develop and maintain annual budgeting and rolling forecasts; track KPIs and collaborate with department heads on assumptions
- Cash flow reporting and analysis; MBR Deck and churn reporting; AR/AP oversight
- Financial integration during acquisitions and system migrations; tax/annual filings; accounting position papers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP (transactional and reporting modules) is considered a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and proven data analytics capabilities (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, data visualization)
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential
- Preferred: Passion for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Preferred: Experience managing multiple projects and working in fast-paced, growing companies
- Preferred: Interest in opportunities for growth within the Finance Department
