About the role
- Act as a first point of contact for employee questions via our Jira HR platform, ensuring timely and clear responses
- Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding
- Coordinate and participate in new hire orientation sessions
- Support exit interviews and stay interviews, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups
- Assist with HR initiatives and projects, keeping processes organized and moving forward
- Support HR activities related to M&A, from pre-close preparation through post-integration
- Maintain and support HR operations tied to country-specific holidays, policies, and employment practices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR processes and guidelines aligned with business goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- 1+ year of HR experience, including internships, co-op placements, or entry-level roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Experience working with an HRIS such as BambooHR
- Exposure to global or multi-entity environments
- Interest in growing into an HR Business Partner role
