About the role

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee questions via our Jira HR platform, ensuring timely and clear responses
  • Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding
  • Coordinate and participate in new hire orientation sessions
  • Support exit interviews and stay interviews, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Assist with HR initiatives and projects, keeping processes organized and moving forward
  • Support HR activities related to M&A, from pre-close preparation through post-integration
  • Maintain and support HR operations tied to country-specific holidays, policies, and employment practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR processes and guidelines aligned with business goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of HR experience, including internships, co-op placements, or entry-level roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Experience working with an HRIS such as BambooHR
  • Exposure to global or multi-entity environments
  • Interest in growing into an HR Business Partner role
