About the role

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support initial lead gen for software businesses in Helios investment criteria
  • Maintaining existing relationships via calls and emails with potential sellers, ensuring that Helios is well-positioned once counterparty is exploring a potential exit
  • Communicating with the investment team on a regular basis the critical relationships that the team should explore in further depth
  • Support initial investment rationalization for early-stage M&A processes
  • This role will require significant travel

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in software sales, business development and/or M&A
  • Financially literate with undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or similar profile
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the ability to creatively set and execute origination strategies
  • English fluency: Fluency in additional languages is preferred but not required
