About the role
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support initial lead gen for software businesses in Helios investment criteria
- Maintaining existing relationships via calls and emails with potential sellers, ensuring that Helios is well-positioned once counterparty is exploring a potential exit
- Communicating with the investment team on a regular basis the critical relationships that the team should explore in further depth
- Support initial investment rationalization for early-stage M&A processes
- This role will require significant travel
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in software sales, business development and/or M&A
- Financially literate with undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or similar profile
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with the ability to creatively set and execute origination strategies
- English fluency: Fluency in additional languages is preferred but not required
