About the role
- Lead by example: Carry an individual quota and actively prospect via calls, email, and LinkedIn—modeling best-in-class outreach and discovery.
- Build & coach the BDR team: Hire, onboard, train, and develop BDRs to consistently exceed pipeline targets.
- Own team performance: Manage both individual and team quotas, ensuring consistent pipeline contribution to Sales.
- Develop sales playbooks: Create and refine outbound strategies, talk tracks, objection handling, and vertical-specific messaging for hospitality buyers.
- Coach in real time: Run call reviews, live coaching sessions, and ongoing training to elevate performance across the team.
- Align cross-functionally: Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to refine ICPs, improve lead quality, and optimize handoffs.
- Track metrics & optimize: Own BDR KPIs (activity, conversion rates, pipeline value) and use data to drive continuous improvement.
- Improve tools & processes: Optimize CRM usage, sequencing tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Scale intentionally: Help define the structure and growth plan for the BDR organization as Sadie expands globally.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in BDR or SDR roles, with a track record as a top-performing individual contributor.
- 1+ year of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring BDR or SDR teams in a player-coach capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently carry and exceed an individual quota while owning team performance.
- Strong outbound sales fundamentals, including cold calling, objection handling, and high-quality discovery.
