Full-stack Engineer

• ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Sr. Product Engineer who will be responsible for all sustaining engineering activities for the ASC Engineered Solutions product line to support the company’s strategic initiatives. This individual will manage projects to improve product performance, coordinate product line or accessory additions, facilitate source changes, accommodate regulatory requirements and changes, and new market sales justifications. They will provide technical support of the ASC product line for ASC’s internal and external customer base. This role requires a balance of technical competency and thoughtful commercial / business judgment to drive decision making.
• Manage engineering-related projects: Project management of several small to medium sized projects under the direction of the Sustaining Engineering Manager; Provide project tracking, scheduling, and progress reporting to stakeholders; Identify/resolve project issues and mitigate risks, impediments, and dependencies while working with cross functional teams
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales/marketing, and customers: Assist inside and outside sales personnel, marketing and product management, and customers with inquiries or questions related to: Product applications and assistance with system design; Product failures or performance concerns; Specifications and design codes; Support manufacturing with technical issues related to manufacturability and performance; Use knowledge of engineering and design principals, while following applicable industry standards to ensure products meet customer expectations
• Help to conduct training sessions with customers, inside and outside sales personnel, and independent rep organizations to develop product knowledge and awareness
• Assist with creating, controlling, and managing all product designs, related drawings, tests/inspections, marketing literature and verification of all current product lines, including: Review and approve modifications to product designs; Assist with diagnosis of reported performance concerns; Conduct internal and external testing to assure products meets design parameters; Update drawings as required by engineering changes or for technical accuracy; Perform engineering calculations in support of design or customer need
• Support on-site product analysis and customer support: Participate in forensics exams if a technical expert is required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry, product standards, and performance requirements

Senior Product Engineer

Inside Sales

ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) who will be responsible for proactively engaging with prospective and existing customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
The incumbent will have assigned accounts within a specified geography and will be responsible for growing revenue within the assigned accounts. The accounts have various degrees of maturity ranging from new (where establishing new relationships is required) to existing long-term multi-year relationships. Each account will require unique coverage and offer varying levels of opportunity for revenue growth and personal connection/relationship building.

Sales Engineer

• Strategic Planning & Specification Development: Develop and implement a yearly game plan that strengthens the specification position for the entire ASC portfolio, with a focus on all applicable products. Particular attention will be given to proprietary products and their technical specifications to preclude competitive products from use.
• Collaborate with the sales team and Rep Firms to develop a strategic annual target list, aimed at increasing the company’s position at agreed-upon target accounts, including owners, engineers, and selected contractors.
• Product & Market Expertise: Develop a complete understanding of product features/benefits, account hierarchy, market and product applications, and technical language/wording.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of specifications as an industry document, including its content and language.
• Stay informed on competitive products and position within the market.
• Industry Engagement & Association Collaboration: Work closely with key engineering associations such as ASPE, ASHRAE, and SFPE to stay informed of industry trends, developments, and standards.
• Utilize these associations to enhance ASC's brand presence and influence in the market.
• Develop and maintain industry relationships, including joining applicable associations to enhance ASC's influence and reach.
• Actively engage with industry professionals to drive account/project development through all levels of the construction cycle.
• Contractor Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between contractors and engineers to ensure ASC products are approved and specified in current and future projects.
• Work with Sales and Rep Firms to assist contractors with navigating the specification process, ensuring ASC’s inclusion in project specifications.
• Subject Matter Expertise & Technology Collaboration: Collaborate with the Construction Technology team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development and enhancement of the company’s engineering software.
• Assist users in effectively utilizing the engineering software, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure optimal use and integration.
• Document Control & CRM Utilization: Document all activities, including reports and strategic plans, in CRM through account/project screens, ensuring that minimum standards are met as per corporate requirements.
• Use CRM as a key communication tool, meeting all reporting procedures established by corporate guidelines.
• Administrative & Corporate Communication: Fulfill all corporate administrative requirements, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate activities with regional counterparts and cross-functional teams when applicable.
• Investigate and report on market trends, competitor activity, and other relevant developments.
