About the role
- Managing professional employees, overseeing day-to-day performance, team operations, and service delivery standards
- Leading all aspects of staff management, including hiring, performance reviews, salary administration, career development, coaching, and team motivation
- Defining team operating standards and ensuring adherence to essential procedures based on deep knowledge of your discipline
- Driving functional goals related to system health, service quality, performance metrics, and operational outcomes
- Providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and customers to support efficient operations and high-quality service
- Conducting systems analysis and design to support diverse projects and requests—covering data analysis, business process evaluation, and hardware/software considerations
- Developing program specifications, and project estimates to support accurate planning and successful project delivery
- Acting as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, supporting the direction, definition, and prioritization of business requirements
- Ensuring clear communication and alignment between IT teams and business partners
- Creating and managing departmental and project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational goals
- Adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource, operational, and business challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar, people-manager role or technical team lead
- Proven capability in managing teams, driving operational performance, and overseeing complex technical or business processes
- Strong analytical skills with experience in systems analysis, data modelling, and business process evaluation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative and collaborative approach to stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and adapt priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
