About the role

  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts in the Retail Travel channel
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and drive customer loyalty
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to meet both company and customer needs
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with partners
  • Lead the development of key account business plans and establish goals
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Lead contract negotiations focusing on commercial terms
  • Provide feedback on corporate programs and strategies
  • Initiate and build long-term relationships with partners
  • Ensure clients keep the company top of mind in their sales and marketing efforts
  • Increase profitability through cost reduction initiatives

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education (preferred)
  • Possess 5-10 years of progressive sales and/or marketing experience
  • Prior key account management experience (preferred)
  • Exceptional relationship builder
  • Demonstrates enterprise level thinking, ROI focused
  • Motivated and focused on achieving objectives
  • Confident interacting at the Senior Management level
  • Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and resourceful
  • Ability to work effectively with Field Sales teams and other functional areas of the business
  • Possesses strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Adept at deriving insights from large and complex data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Power B.I., UKG and Concur would be an asset.
  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, is required
  • Access to use of a reliable personal vehicle is required.
