About the role
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts in the Retail Travel channel
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and drive customer loyalty
- Coordinate with relevant departments to meet both company and customer needs
- Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with partners
- Lead the development of key account business plans and establish goals
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities
- Lead contract negotiations focusing on commercial terms
- Provide feedback on corporate programs and strategies
- Initiate and build long-term relationships with partners
- Ensure clients keep the company top of mind in their sales and marketing efforts
- Increase profitability through cost reduction initiatives
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education (preferred)
- Possess 5-10 years of progressive sales and/or marketing experience
- Prior key account management experience (preferred)
- Exceptional relationship builder
- Demonstrates enterprise level thinking, ROI focused
- Motivated and focused on achieving objectives
- Confident interacting at the Senior Management level
- Persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Creative and resourceful
- Ability to work effectively with Field Sales teams and other functional areas of the business
- Possesses strong negotiation and closing skills
- Adept at deriving insights from large and complex data sets
- Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Power B.I., UKG and Concur would be an asset.
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, is required
- Access to use of a reliable personal vehicle is required.
