About the role
- Proactively identify potential federal, state, foundation, and corporate grant opportunities aligned with ASYMCA’s mission.
- Develop compelling, mission-driven grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, letters of intent, and supporting materials.
- Track all grant-related activities—from submissions to award, through implementation and reporting.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with grantors and oversight committees.
- Collaborate on developing and managing grant budgets and tracking expenditures.
- Serve as a liaison across departments to support grant-related initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality in all organizational matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in grant writing, fundraising, or grants management required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in nonprofit or military-support organizations preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities, with precision and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in grant databases and CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Instrumental).
