Proposal Manager

• Coordinate and manage the creation of proposals from start to finish, ensuring all sections are completed, formatted correctly, and submitted on time.
• Support the proposal team by reviewing and editing draft materials.
• Maintain standardized proposal response formats and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government requirements.
• Ensure all mandatory documents, such as forms and certifications, are accurately completed and submitted.
• Develop and manage the proposal kickoff deck, aligning teams with the proposal strategy, timelines, and key milestones.
• Ensure that the proposal color calendar is updated and serves as a central planning tool throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of the WBS to break down the proposal process into manageable tasks.
• Work with internal teams, including technical writers, subject matter experts, and graphic designers, to gather the necessary information for the proposal.
• Prepare and present regular proposal updates to leadership, including pipeline metrics, win/loss analysis, and strategic insights.

• Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of Ariel Assist, Ariel Partners’ AI-powered platform currently in development.
• Contribute to building AI-enabled features, improving system performance, and supporting preparation of the product for launch.
• Support development efforts involving cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and modern application frameworks.
• Assist with integrating AI models, APIs, or intelligent automation capabilities into the Ariel Assist platform.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify opportunities to enhance system functionality, scalability, and user experience.
• Assist in building integrations between Ariel Assist and internal enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and quality assurance of software components and system updates.

• Learn and master a highly complex existing portfolio of applications that service the end-to-end process for vital statistics in New York City
• Stay constantly in touch with team members and project leaders: daily check-in/checkout, technical discussions over slack, and active over email.
• Create user personas, user journey maps, and other artifacts to document user insights and design requirements.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
• Work collaboratively with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
• Implement front-end designs in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Conduct manual testing efforts across new and existing features to find defects and opportunities for improvement
• Be online and available every weekday during core hours of 10am through 4pm.
