About the role
- Issues, receives, and manages materials at various stages of the production process to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensures all precious alloys have successfully passed quality testing before releasing products to the appropriate department.
- Records inventory transactions in the QAD system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reviews and verifies that all transactions are properly and accurately documented.
- Confirms materials are correctly labeled and stored in their designated locations according to established guidelines.
- Processes inventory transfers of materials, ensuring all corresponding paperwork is completed and accompanies the materials to the requested locations.
- Records and facilitates the transfer of incoming and outgoing laboratory quality control (QC) samples.
- Scans Device History Records (DHR) daily for accurate documentation and compliance.
- Brushes off and sifts through material shavings to remove impurities and contaminants, maintaining product quality.
- Performs daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report variances as needed.
- Pulls, transfers, and records material requests from the Digital Miralani Inventory Team on a weekly basis.
- Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs) for all processes to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Receives daily gold purchase orders (POs) from the Finance department for issuance to the Alloys team.
- Manages incoming and outgoing deliveries with secure carriers, such as Loomis and Brinks.
- Prepares precious metal (PM) reconciliations for gold milling operations to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Updates and maintains the daily PM Reconciliation Gold Milling Spreadsheet for transparency and accuracy.
- Processes re-bag transactions and executes material transfers in accordance with established procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One plus years of experience in inventory control preferred.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently across four or more workstations with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete additional responsibilities.
- Attention to detail and quality focused.
- Schedule adherence and dependability.
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions (SOP/Supervision).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and meet production goals.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures and completing on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
