About the role

  • Conduct demonstrations, presentations, and Proof of Concepts to showcase SAP IBP’s features, addressing client-specific requirements and illustrating business value.
  • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to understand customer needs, identify and qualify new leads, provide tailored SAP IBP solutions, and articulate a compelling value proposition.
  • Nurture and own relationships with SAP, working closely on joint opportunities and market engagement activities.
  • Lead discussions and workshops to gather client requirements, map them to SAP IBP capabilities, and create a strong case for implementation.
  • Prepare proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and project sizing documents, ensuring accurate scoping, while keeping internal tools such as Salesforce updated.
  • Stay current on SAP IBP enhancements, competitive landscape, and maintain demo systems aligned with real-world scenarios.
  • Support go-to-market strategies for SAP IBP offerings, helping the sales team reach revenue targets through strategic positioning, market insights, and joint SAP initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client concerns, provide technical insights, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant or in a related role within the SAP IBP domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP IBP modules, with expertise in GATP, ATP, and APO functionalities.
  • Familiarity with project sizing methodologies and SOW preparation for SAP IBP implementations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and best practices.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to customizing demos, addressing customer needs effectively, and staying updated on the latest SAP IBP advancements and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, engaging effectively with business development, sales, marketing, and delivery teams depending on the stage of the GTM or sales process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; SAP IBP certifications will be an advantage.
