About the role

  • Establishing a regional creative department
  • Shaping the creative vision and execution across the EMEA region
  • Adapting global creative strategies to regional needs
  • Developing original campaigns that resonate with local audiences
  • Collaborating with EMEA Marketing functional leaders, and with global creative and operations stakeholders
  • Working as part of the EMEA Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing EMEA, and with a dotted reporting line to the Creative Director, Global Brand Studio

Requirements

  • 7-10 years experience in a creative leadership role at a direct-to-consumer brand and related post-secondary education
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe creative suite and associated design tools
  • Strong depth of experience in brand storytelling, art direction, photography, film, graphic design, architecture, and digital UX
  • Strong portfolio showcasing international campaign development
  • Understanding of the cultural and market dynamics across EMEA
  • Naunced taste level and understanding of outdoor and its cultural intersections
  • Ability to set a clear vision, align your future team around common objectives, and foster commitment to deliver
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An inspiring leader with the ability to keep the team focused and motivated
  • Strong direct-to-consumer marketing knowledge and a deep understanding of the consumer journey
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in English (spoken and written), and proficiency in another European language
  • Strong experience in budget management
  • Familiarity and passion for the Arc’teryx brand
  • Proactive in identifying the root causes of issues and developing solutions
  • Ability to take difficult decisions when faced with ambiguity
  • High flexibility and adaptability
