About the role
- You will lead our strategic partnership with our Japan team.
- You will drive business outcomes through the application of people programs and initiatives that align with our long-term business strategy.
- You will provide strategic guidance and expertise in organizational design, performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership.
- You will enable ongoing leadership development across the business through your team’s partnership with their respective functional portfolios.
- The People & Culture Business Partner team operates in strategic partnership with the business, driving the continuous evolution of people and leadership practices.
Requirements
- You have a degree in Business and 8+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within an apparel or technology
- You have previous experience working for a global company and a proven ability to quickly build an understanding of a complex global business model
- You are great at influencing through strong relationships, expertise and data and can manage a complex group of stakeholders
- You are a natural leader, and you’re not afraid to blaze a trail in uncharted territory
- You have a highly collaborative style, and a willingness and demonstrated ability to work in teams as both a lead and supporting team member
- You have strong leadership skills and coaching across all levels of leadership
- You have the ability to coach, mentor, advise and where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal objectives
- You have strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, assess people, understand trends, and develop prioritized recommendations
- You have excellent listening and communication skills with an ability to communicate large complex change
- You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done right and the next moment being part of highly complex strategic business discussion
- You have the ability to quickly build an in depth understanding of the business, including key processes, priorities and plans
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
