About the role
- Provide effective administrative support to the HR team.
- Draft, amend, and issue contracts and change letters.
- Process DBS checks and occupational health referrals.
- Schedule appointments and update clients.
- Assist with training administration like producing delegate packs and booking attendees.
- Maintain client and team databases.
- Oversee the FusionHR ticketing system to ensure all tickets are actioned.
- Provide professional day-to-day HR advice to managers.
- Support the HR team with consultancy work.
- Draft template letters for formal and informal meetings related to employee relations cases.
- Assist with project work to support business growth.
- Research, draft, and deliver engaging webinars to educate and inform target audiences.
- Draft and proofread HR blogs and marketing materials to support growth strategy.
Requirements
- Experience working in a busy office environment.
- Previous HR experience, with a working knowledge of HR management and an understanding of employment law.
- Experience in drafting policies, procedures, and other HR documents.
- Experience with Microsoft packages like Excel, Word, Outlook, and databases.
- Experience providing generalist HR advice to senior leaders and managing employee relations casework is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills to plan, prioritise, and deliver work under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, confident, and a "can-do" problem-solver and self-starter.
- Ability to use your own initiative and prioritise effectively.
- A team player with high levels of integrity, honesty, and credibility.
- Commercial awareness and a keen interest in promoting the business interests of FusionHR are desirable.
- A good standard of education, equivalent to NVQ Level 3.
- GCSE English and Maths (A-C grade).
- A CIPD qualification, or working toward one, is highly desirable.
