About the role
- Plan, design, and implement infrastructure solutions to meet business needs.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and support of infrastructure.
- Assess and recommend infrastructure upgrades or changes to improve performance and efficiency.
- Lead standard infrastructure projects and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Resolve escalated infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Manage infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor a team of infrastructure specialists and technicians.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to team members.
- Manage and maintain infrastructure, including operating system updates, patch management, and security measures.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field expected.
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred.
- From 5 - 10 years of experience in infrastructure positions/services
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure components.
- Experience in infrastructure management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, Azure, AWS) is beneficial.
- Previous experience working with multiple projects.
