About the role
- Play a pivotal role in assisting our clients in their transition to Cloud and DevOps environments.
- Leverage expertise in cloud technologies and best practices.
- Work autonomously to execute tasks, set priorities, and deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions aligned with their business objectives.
- Independently assess client infrastructure, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop cloud migration and optimisation strategies.
- Execute tasks and set priorities without direct supervision, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines.
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions based on industry best practices and client requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Engage with clients to understand their business requirements, communicate technical concepts, and recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of continuous integration and deployment practices
- Ability to collaborate with people of all levels of technical ability
- Ability to contribute and mentor on industry best practices
- Fantastic people skills, including the ability to collaborate with a team towards a common goal
- Natural ability to see and communicate both the big picture and detail-oriented opportunities and solutions when faced with a problem.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, optimisation, or implementation projects.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage tasks, and prioritise workload effectively.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous learning mindset, with a willingness to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
- Certification in relevant cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) at an expert/professional level is highly desirable, e.g.: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Cloud Solutions Architect Associate
- Certification in Kubernetes or Terraform administration is desirable: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Terraform Associate
