About the role
- managing AGS spend across Quartz, Silicon, and Silicon Carbide suppliers
- managing supplier commercial agreements
- ensuring supplier strategies align with product roadmaps
- leading new supplier introduction and disengagement activities
- driving resolution of supply chain issues impacting quality, cost, delivery, or lead time
- identifying and presenting cost reduction and value creation opportunities
- managing supplier capacity planning and readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain roles within a complex manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in commercial agreement negotiation, cost management, and supplier relationship management
- Proven ability to develop and execute commodity or sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Experience managing supplier capacity planning, risk mitigation, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and apply best practices to improve processes, products, or services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead resolution of complex, cross-functional issues
- Effective leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to lead projects and work cross-functionally without direct authority
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and influence diverse stakeholders
