About the role

Design, build, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Engineer and deploy the Rogue Blue SWF infrastructure layer (servers, network devices, storage, VMware) across multiple classification levels
Build and maintain converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, including storage, networking, and virtualization systems
Enable rapid provisioning and deployment of standardized operating environments using automation
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments
Manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; act as first responder for production incidents
Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
Evaluate infrastructure designs, translate operational needs into system and software requirements, and determine feasibility of new capabilities
Integrate COTS products and advanced tools into existing systems and processes
Provide technical support for development programs and mentor junior personnel
Collaborate with design and development teams and leadership to optimize application architecture

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must possess TS w/SCI eligibility at hire; minimum TS required at time of application
Certifications: Security+ required; willingness to obtain ITIL v4 within 6 months of onboarding
Education: High School Diploma minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred
Years of Experience: 8 years (3-5 minimum if possessing a Bachelor's degree)
Knowledge of modern IT architecture and DevOps processes, including object-oriented development/tools
Hands on experience with at least 3 of: Kubernetes & Docker; Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure); CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI); Scripting (Python or Bash)
Experience with virtualization and VMware, storage, networking, converged/hyper-converged infrastructure
Ability to implement security controls, governance processes, and compliance automation
Willingness to work on-site at Offutt AFB, NE and travel up to 10%
