About the role
- Provides expert-level oversight of program and functional managers across a broad portfolio of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) and Information Technology (IT) programs
- Consults on program execution to include multiple agency partnering, opportunity assessments, resource allocations, and/or risk identification on technical and developmental issues
- Directs and evaluates cost, schedule, and performance of complex technical efforts
- Solicit operational/technical requirements, then prepare supporting documentation to include statements of work, and submit for approval/processing
- Track status of various acquisitions from submission through award, support contract administration to include management of contract deliverables; and track obligations/ expenditures
- Interface with external agencies to facilitate collaboration, data and product sharing and integration of intelligence
- Facilitate technical exchanges and implement processes for broader community awareness of Intelligence R&D efforts across the Air Force enterprise
- Develops and presents briefings to executive and senior level customer personnel
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) adjudication
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-4 years of experience supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) technical project management activities
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with ISR and intelligence disciplines
- Effective, efficient written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) technical project management activities OR Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience
