Provide technical expertise and documentation support to ensure compliance with Systems Security Engineering (SSE), Anti-Tamper requirements, and Cybersecurity (CS)/Assessment & Authorization (A&A)
Lead and support cybersecurity audits, testing events, risk assessments, and Cybersafe activities
Apply knowledge of threat assessments, embedded systems, software applications, networking, and aviation-related security engineering standards
Assist with acquiring and maintaining program accounts (e.g., eMASS, ITIPS)
Support A&A and cybersecurity engineering efforts, including risk and vulnerability analysis, RMF/PIT implementation, system security planning, milestone reviews, and preparation of IATT, ATO, and ATC packages
Review and update program documentation to align with cybersecurity and security requirements, including Anti-Tamper Plans, PPPs, Cybersecurity Strategies, RMF artifacts, and related program records
Support accelerated timelines for special operations and quick reaction requirements
Onsite presence at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD supporting the NAVAIR V-22 Program Office
Requirements
Must be a US citizen
Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
Education: Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years (12+ years preferred) of experience, including 5 supporting the DoD; OR Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years (15+ years preferred) of experience, including 5 supporting the DoD; OR 14+ years (22+ years preferred) of experience, including 8 supporting the DoD in lieu of degree
Possess DoD Directive 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II and/or Level III (such as Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) or be willing to achieve it within 6 months of employment
Working knowledge of DoD RMF policies, processes, and tools with understanding of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) implementation
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, network architecture analysis, verification and validation of requirements
Understanding of the risk management process and the operational context of weapon systems employment
Capability to support accelerated timelines needed for special operations and quick reaction requirements
Knowledge of threat assessments, embedded systems, software applications, networking, and aviation-related security engineering standards
Experience acquiring and maintaining program accounts (e.g., eMASS, ITIPS)
