Support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division
Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cyber security measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
Assess cyber security vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
Provide design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) IT systems as part of NIWC Atlantic support
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
Depending on PWS tasking, certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570
Three (3) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cyber security policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements
Ability to assess cyber security vulnerabilities, propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
Experience ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
Experience responding to computer security breaches and making required reports
