About the role
- Provide relevant and timely research identifying potential intersections across commercial and military interests to illuminate sensitivities and risk trajectory
- Conduct sector, industry, and company-level primary research leveraging business intelligence tools to uncover and evaluate industry trends
- Assist in development and solely author research reports
- Leverage analytic judgment to interact with USG stakeholders, corporate entities, investors, and industry associations to generate reports and USSOCOM insights
- Develop and maintain relationships with personnel and management supporting commercial markets
- Keep abreast of industry-related news flow and analyze implications of news/industry developments to portfolio companies and USG stakeholders
- Use preliminary assessments to develop strategic engagement hypotheses for USSOCOM and stakeholders to promote, protect, or project SOF equities
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM or Business discipline
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Specific Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Research, Business Consulting, Banking, Capital Markets, and/or Finance sectors
- Writing: Experience writing in a professional capacity (research notes/correspondence; presentations; industry reports)
- Skills: Interest in and ability to leverage all available resources to create differentiated content for research reports
- Work Environment: Experience working with tight deadlines and under pressure
