• Define and evolve interaction patterns that feel native and considered
• Design for real constraints: gloved hands, outdoor visibility, shared devices, patchy connectivity
• Work closely with Flutter engineers to ensure designs translate faithfully
• Bridge the quality gap between web and mobile
• Ship with the Team
• Daily collaboration with PMs on feature scoping—they bring user context, you bring design thinking
• Partner with Flutter engineers on feasibility and implementation fidelity
• Review builds, catch issues before they ship
• Be the person who says 'this isn't right yet' when it matters
• Build the System
• Evolve Aphex's design system, particularly mobile components
• Work with the Head of UX on standards and quality benchmarks
• Ensure consistency across web and mobile where it counts
