About the role

  • Focus on growing and developing existing accounts, through the up-selling and cross-selling of APG products
  • Be responsible for both a growth and new business target.
  • Take ownership of and manage tender processes, as well as requests for quotations for current customers, in collaboration with relevant departments and management team
  • Oversee the onboarding of new products for current customers and new customers (where required)
  • Provide guidance to the Customer Service Team to ensure that they are meeting the customer’s needs, acting as an escalation point for the customer.
  • Liaise with all other relevant internal Departments to ensure that all customer deadlines and requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales (advantageous)
  • Comfortable presenting business reviews
  • CRM experience preferred
  • A positive, pro-active, go-get-um attitude
  • Growth mindset, excellent listening, and written communication skills
  • Strong Account Management, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Customer centric
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
