About the role
- Serve as the primary clinical liaison between Providers, clinical staff, and the Regional Manager.
- Lead all aspects of staff management, including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll approval, performance evaluations, coaching, and employee relations.
- Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for Medical Assistants (MAs) and Medical Receptionists (MRs).
- Supervise daily clinical and front-office workflows.
- Maintain regulatory compliance (OSHA, HIPAA, MIPS).
- Manage provider schedules and support smart scheduling optimization.
- Monitor key performance metrics and analyze data trends.
- Oversee medical supply inventory and ordering.
- Foster a positive, productive work environment and lead daily team huddles.
- Perform additional duties as assigned; occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of clinical experience required; at least 1 year in dermatology preferred.
- Prior medical office management or healthcare leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly and effectively.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, insurance terminology, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office (including Excel), and reporting platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred.
