About the role

  • Serve as the senior legal authority and strategic advisor to leadership and the Board on all legal matters
  • Oversee the legal function, including directing outside counsel relationships
  • Design and implement systematic workflows for legal requests
  • Own oversight of legal operations infrastructure
  • Serve as the spokesperson on all litigation and disputes
  • Direct external litigation counsel and manage legal budgets
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across jurisdictions
  • Lead the company's data privacy strategy and governance
  • Oversee relationships with trademark and patent counsel
  • Establish and enforce enterprise-wide governance contracts and frameworks
  • Lead ad-hoc legal projects and other strategic legal initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of legal experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years in a senior in-house counsel or General Counsel role
  • D. from an accredited law school
  • Broad knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Deep experience with contract lifecycle management and commercial negotiations
  • Working knowledge of legal management platforms, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Strategic thinker with experience in legal process development
