About the role

  • Assume full ownership of the administration, maintenance, and security of core cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS)
  • Maintain working knowledge of GCP and Azure services to support a multi-cloud environment
  • Collaborate with TechOps engineers to identify and implement automation, reliability, and efficiency improvements
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the TechOps team
  • Administer Mobile Device Management solutions (Kandji, Intune) and Okta identity provider
  • Administer and manage network services, including SD-WAN technologies such as Meraki
  • Provide expert support for desktop environments (ChromeOS and macOS)
  • Apply ITIL 4 knowledge to improve IT service management processes and operational best practices
  • Lead resolution of complex infrastructure-related incidents and problems

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience in a Cloud Operations, DevOps, or similar role
  • In-depth experience with a wide range of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • Strong working knowledge of core services across GCP and Azure
  • Extensive experience with MDM platforms (Kandji, Intune, or similar)
  • Expertise in managing and securing identity and access management (IAM) systems, particularly Okta
  • Hands-on experience with ChromeOS and macOS administration
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies, particularly Meraki
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and desire to coach and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
  • Familiarity with the ITIL 4 framework
