About the role
- Develop and maintain cloud blueprints to support migration and modernization initiatives across S&P Global.
- Engineer cloud build and deployment patterns to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Support and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline implementations to streamline development processes.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and compliance to safeguard cloud operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize cloud resource management.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the Cloud Blueprints community, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and champion agile methodologies to enhance team productivity.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, DevOps, and/or Cloud operations.
- Strong expertise in AWS and hands-on experience with its services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to enhance deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles to ensure compliance and safety.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to broaden cloud expertise.
- Professional cloud certifications to validate technical skills and knowledge.
- Experience with inner-source or open-source projects, demonstrating collaborative development skills.
- Knowledge of container technologies to enhance deployment flexibility and efficiency.
- Experience with multiple CI/CD platforms, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Azure DevOps, to support diverse development environments.
