About the role
- Supervise trading activities of fixed income products and over-the-counter derivatives executed by bank and broker-dealer trading desks
- Assess the adequacy of transaction documentation and of the structures, systems and workflows related to trading desk activities
- Continuously monitor Debenture, CRI and CRA transactions carried out in the market and identify atypical operations that may indicate breaches of self-regulation rules
- Conduct investigations into suspected breaches of the association’s self-regulation rules, based on statistical filters applied to industry data, document and process analysis, complaints, etc.
- Prepare technical analysis reports with conclusions regarding the existence of breaches of the association’s self-regulation rules by ANBIMA participant institutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations on the activities performed to support internal bodies in decision-making regarding the possible initiation of self-regulatory proceedings
- Draft guidance letters to the market and monitor the implementation of action plans to regularize processes at supervised institutions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of trade processing flows and trade capture systems (Trademate, Voice, NoMe)
- Knowledge of the financial markets: interest rates, foreign exchange, fixed income, derivatives, etc.
- Knowledge of the structuring and trading activities for fixed income products and over-the-counter derivatives
- Knowledge of pricing for fixed income securities and derivatives
- Excellent writing skills and a strong, macro-level view of processes
- Strong logical reasoning and risk analysis capabilities.
