About the role
- Oversee all Accounting and Treasury functions
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
- Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
- Optimize accounting processes and reporting systems to support a scaling business
- Lead multi-entity consolidations and manage global accounting operations
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases)
- Manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with debt and lending covenant requirements
- Establish and create Company accounting policies and procedures
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, including offshore team
- Drive continuous improvements in accounting technology, including ERP/CRM integrations and automation
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CFO and leadership team, combining technical accounting expertise with operational leadership to drive efficiency, compliance, and business insights across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 7+ years experience in accounting and finance
- 5+ years in an accounting leadership role
- 2+ years public accounting experience at a national or regional firm
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and multi-entity consolidation
- Hands-on experience with large-scale ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or similar)
- Track record of supporting a fast-growing, scaling company with evolving needs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an operational mindset
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to senior leadership
- Debt compliance and covenant reporting experience
- Preferred: M&A accounting and integration experience
- Preferred: ERP implementation leadership
- Preferred: Experience managing offshore accounting teams
- Preferred: Industry experience in SaaS, Managed Services and Technology
