Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
Partner cross-functionally to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
Optimize accounting processes and reporting systems to support a scaling business
Lead multi-entity consolidations and manage global accounting operations
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases)
Manage internal and external audits, serving as the primary point of contact with external auditors
Ensure compliance with debt and lending covenant requirements
Establish and create Company accounting policies and procedures
Lead and mentor accounting staff, including offshore team
Drive continuous improvements in accounting technology, including ERP/CRM integrations and automation
Serve as a trusted partner to the CFO and leadership team, combining technical accounting expertise with operational leadership to drive efficiency, compliance, and business insights across the organization
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
7+ years experience in accounting and finance
5+ years in an accounting leadership role
2+ years public accounting experience at a national or regional firm
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and multi-entity consolidation
Hands-on experience with large-scale ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or similar)
Track record of supporting a fast-growing, scaling company with evolving needs
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an operational mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to senior leadership
Debt compliance and covenant reporting experience
Preferred: M&A accounting and integration experience
Preferred: ERP implementation leadership
Preferred: Experience managing offshore accounting teams
Preferred: Industry experience in SaaS, Managed Services and Technology
