About the role
- Provide remote and sometimes local expert technical support to customers
- Install and commission products on customer sites
- Teach our distributors and contractors how to service and use our products
- Diagnose and root cause issues
- Create/write up test reports, service reports, and new knowledge base articles
- Collect and analyze data regarding the product reliability, usability, and performance
- Provide feedback to our engineering and sales team to improve our future products
Requirements
- Relevant experience working physically around high power equipment
- Proficient with electronic equipment, power tools, and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Trained as an Electrical Technician, Electrician, or Electrical Engineer, preferably with renewable energy systems
- Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, testing procedures, and relevant regulations
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and manuals
- Effective working both independently and as part of a team
- Good command of written and spoken English
