About the role

  • Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account working on Facilities Management, delivering critical services for prisons that make a real positive impact across the UK.
  • People manage a large team of staff, including handling disciplinary and employment processes.
  • To oversee the day to day operation and strategic management of the Estate / building on behalf of the Client, developing customer relations with the establishment.
  • Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with the Health and Safety Policy.
  • Achieve and maintain Statutory and Mandatory Compliance.
  • Ensure that KPIs are achieved and that staff are aware of their role in service delivery.
  • Update the Environmental Management System for site and ensure that measures to reduce the risk to the environment are adhered to.

Requirements

  • People manage a large team of staff, including handling disciplinary and employment processes
  • To oversee the day to day operation and strategic management of the Estate / building on behalf of the Client, developing customer relations with the establishment
  • Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with the Health and Safety Policy
  • Achieve and maintain Statutory and Mandatory Compliance
  • Ensure that KPIs are achieved and that staff are aware of their role in service delivery.
  • Update the Environmental Management System for site and ensure that measures to reduce the risk to the environment are adhered to.
  • Customer relationship management with good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and implementation of policies
  • Sound knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory Compliance with experience of preparing for external audits
  • Recognised and relevant technical or FM qualification is preferred
  • Solid experience in delivery of Hard FM (ideally 5 years)
  • Proven experience of direct management of a large team.
