About the role
- Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account working on Facilities Management, delivering critical services for prisons that make a real positive impact across the UK.
- People manage a large team of staff, including handling disciplinary and employment processes.
- To oversee the day to day operation and strategic management of the Estate / building on behalf of the Client, developing customer relations with the establishment.
- Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with the Health and Safety Policy.
- Achieve and maintain Statutory and Mandatory Compliance.
- Ensure that KPIs are achieved and that staff are aware of their role in service delivery.
- Update the Environmental Management System for site and ensure that measures to reduce the risk to the environment are adhered to.
Requirements
- People manage a large team of staff, including handling disciplinary and employment processes
- To oversee the day to day operation and strategic management of the Estate / building on behalf of the Client, developing customer relations with the establishment
- Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with the Health and Safety Policy
- Achieve and maintain Statutory and Mandatory Compliance
- Ensure that KPIs are achieved and that staff are aware of their role in service delivery.
- Update the Environmental Management System for site and ensure that measures to reduce the risk to the environment are adhered to.
- Customer relationship management with good communication skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and implementation of policies
- Sound knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory Compliance with experience of preparing for external audits
- Recognised and relevant technical or FM qualification is preferred
- Solid experience in delivery of Hard FM (ideally 5 years)
- Proven experience of direct management of a large team.
