About the role
- Responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable, secure, and high performing cloud, DevOps, and data platform solutions across Azure, AWS, and Microsoft Fabric
- Partner closely with business and cross commit technology teams to architect modern cloud-native systems
- Optimize enterprise data flows, automate deployments, and enable decision making through resilient data and analytics platforms
- Lead modernization initiatives for existing assets including re‑architecture/optimizations into Azure/AWS cloud ecosystems
- Architect cloud-native patterns including serverless computing, container orchestration, event-driven designs
- Drive cloud security and governance by implementing security baselines, IAM controls, encryption and key‑management policies, and vulnerability remediation, while ensuring adherence to tagging standards, cost optimization, resource compliance, and FinOps practices
- Automate release processes, environment provisioning and cloud resource lifecycle management
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation
- Enforce cloud-native monitoring, observability, and automated recovery frameworks
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket or similar frameworks
- Lead the adoption of Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Warehouse, Real-Time Intelligence, Data Activator)
- Develop automated data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration solutions using Python, Fabric Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Lambda
- Establish performance, governance, workspace models, and Fabric security standards
- Build high-quality utilities/automation solutions using Python and cloud SDKs
- Lead delivery of complex cloud, data, and AI initiatives and manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and communication across stakeholders
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, and multi-cloud design patterns
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and modern data engineering frameworks
- Strong programming experience in Python/Powershell for automation, APIs, and data handling
- Expertise in CICD Tools – Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory
- POC (Proof of Concept) implementation
- SQL scripting
- Proven experience leading complex projects, cloud migrations, and enterprise-scale solutions
- Strong Windows OS knowledge (Registry Editor, Group Policies, Server Roles etc.)
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of PowerBI and Power Automate, Certifications: Azure Architect, AWS Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert, Fabric Associate, or PMP/Scrum Master, Experience with Snowflake, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, Familiarity with enterprise AI agents, observability platforms, and FinOps practices
