About the role
- Ensure the timely and accurate setup of trading accounts in all systems
- Research and resolve position differences between trading and accounting systems daily to meet SLA deadlines
- Monitor emails for any account changes, and ensure the changes are made accurately and timely
- Run reports to pull transaction and positions needed for class action filing on a monthly basis
- Responsible for loading and removing positions for any newly on-boarded/terminated account within the trading platform
- Ensure procedures and controls are followed to prevent errors and delays
- Provide quality service and information to partners/clients
- Provide information and answer questions for audits and risk assessments
- Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Attend huddles, team meetings, trainings and coaching
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Basic MS – Word / Excel, Outlook knowledge
- Knowledge in Accounting & Securities market/Investment products
- Knowledge of Investment tools (like Bloomberg)
- Background or equivalent investment industry experience in financial/fund accounting, finance, or middle/back office processing
- Good communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.
