About the role
- Review and approve infusion nursing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Monitor adherence to infusion therapy protocols and infection control practices.
- Appropriately escalate complex clinical concerns or patient cases to the Regional Director.
- Promote high-quality patient outcomes through routine audits, performance evaluations, and constructive feedback.
- Supervise, mentor, and support field infusion nurses across the assigned region.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Foster a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous professional growth.
- Ensure adequate nurse staffing and coordinate schedules with administrative teams to meet operational needs.
- Lead onboarding for new infusion nurses, ensuring thorough and effective integration into the team.
- Develop and deliver training programs focused on infusion best practices, clinical documentation, and safety protocols.
- Act as the primary liaison between field nurses, internal departments, and external partner agencies.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Multistate RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in infusion therapy.
- At least 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership, supervisory, or management role.
- Experience working with home health agencies or in home infusion care settings.
- Strong knowledge of home infusion therapy, patient care standards, and clinical documentation best practices.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
