Operations Site Lead, frontline representation with customers, vendors, and landowners supporting Network Operations and interdepartmental objectives.
Collect data from all assigned tower assets while maintaining high standards of data quality.
Use multiple methods for data collection, including Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
Partner cross-functionally to manage maintenance and repairs within a geographic area for towers, rooftop installations, fiber-based networks, and generators.
Perform routine site audits on assets in an assigned area/zone efficiently and cost-effectively, utilizing UAS and other data collection tools.
Ensure assets meet safety, compliance, and asset integrity standards by implementing the Company’s Standard of Care and documenting discrepancies and remediation.
Engage with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensure timelines and safety standards during pre-construction meetings and post-construction site walks, and gather/process closeout data.
Respond quickly to issues with backup generators, fiber-based networks, and emergency events to meet customer service level agreements.
Spend approximately 75% of time outside a conventional office environment visiting assets in a Company vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in telecommunications or a related field required.
Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, have a demonstrated safe driving record, and be able to travel extensively by car or truck.
Must have, or within a year of hire obtain, FAA Part 107 Certification to operate UAS.
Vendor management experience, real-estate management experience, or a civil construction background preferred.
Knowledge of radio transmitters, receivers, antennas, radio frequency, wireless, or ethernet backhaul experience preferred.
Ability to use discretion when setting priorities and resolving issues in accordance with Company best practices and standards.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use additional Company software applications.
While performing the role, you will need to lift up to 60 lbs. and be able to traverse developed and undeveloped construction sites.
Approximately 40% overnight travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
