About the role

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Ab Initio - Enterprise ETL Platform in a Linux environment
  • Install and configure Ab-initio Software components in Linux Environments
  • Perform platform version upgrades and patch management with minimal downtime
  • Provide technical support to application teams for ETL job processing and troubleshooting
  • Manage code promotion activities across development, testing, and production environments
  • Monitor platform performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
  • Configure and maintain connectivity with various source systems and target databases

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ETL/data integration tools
  • 5+ years of Ab Initio platform administration and operational support experience
  • Strong understanding of Ab Initio architecture, components, and configuration
  • Proficiency in Ab Initio platform administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Ab Initio version upgrades and Co-Op upgrades
  • Experience supporting ETL job execution and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and command-line operations
  • Shell scripting expertise
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and performance analysis tools
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and integrating with various database technologies.
