Associate

• Assist facilities in becoming accredited with the designations of Chest Pain Center Accreditation, Heart Failure Accreditation, Cath Lab Accreditation, Electrophysiology Accreditation, Transcatheter Valve Certification, HeartCARE Center, National Distinction of Excellence and future service lines per the criteria defined by ACC Accreditation Services.
• Specialize in Chest Pain and Heart Failure Accreditations.
• Conduct on-site or video site reviews at facilities that request any of the Accreditation services offered by the ACC.
• Engage in interactive dialogue with the health care organization while on-site regarding the items in the Accreditation Tool to assess gaps and areas for improvement.
• Serve in an advisory capacity to ensure facilities understand the requirements for accreditation and facilitate their success.
• Review accreditation materials submitted by facilities seeking accreditation for completeness and to ensure that materials meet the essential component requirements in the Accreditation Tool.
• Participate in presentations and professional trade shows to educate the public and other professionals regarding the benefits of all accreditations.
• Communicate and coordinate with facilities to arrange site reviews and secure additional documentation for accreditation review, if needed.
• Prepare summary report to the Accreditation Review Committee and to the reviewed facility to articulate findings from the site review, accreditation decision, and potential opportunities for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure the mission and vision of ACC Accreditation Services are upheld.

Associate – Accreditation Review

• Provide value-based payment surveillance and policy expertise to facilitate member participation in alternative payment models to anticipate and communicate opportunities and potential threats associated with payment reform initiatives
• Performance measure advocacy including tracking/influencing activities of quality organizations such as Battelle’s Partnership for Quality Measurement to keep ACC-stewarded measures in the Quality Payment Program (CMS) and as the preferred measures for private payers, as appropriate, through initiatives such as Core Quality Measure Collaborative
• Manage private payer relationships and lead ACC strategic direction in this area
• Manage the activities of the Population Health Management Work Group and Partners in Quality Subcommittee to advance ACC strategic plan goals

Associate, Payer Advocacy & Value Solutions

General

• This high call volume contact center is responsible for both inbound/outbound calls and emails, as well as other communication channels, in a fast-paced environment, supporting both internal and external customers.
• Diagnose and resolve a wide variety of technical and non-technical issues for several products/programs, triaging to other business units only when absolutely necessary.
• Primary participant requests pertain to site navigation, software bugs, data entry/submission, and enhancement requests for our web-based proprietary software.
• Account/user configuration and administration.
• Manage JIRA ticketing system for the team.
• Lead business-critical tasks and projects, such as User Acceptance Testing, process improvements and new product/program launches.
• Escalation point-of-contact for internal/external clients.
• Administer random quality checks to identify trends with products, programs and training opportunities.

Associate, NCDR Business Support

Research Analyst

• Serve as study manager for FDA, NIH and industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated research studies by implementing reliable methods to support clinical research activities.
• Contribute scientific, clinical, data, and technical expertise to guide the execution of complex research projects.
• Leading research focus interactions with clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries and provide clinical registry expertise and guidance to support custom data analytics and research study requests.
• Reviewing inbound research questions, requests, and study protocols to determine the feasibility of conducting studies within the context of the NCDR infrastructure.
• Working closely with physician members, and member committees to facilitate clinical, scientific, and strategic review of new research proposals.
