About the role
- Creates and produces emotionally compelling video content supporting ACS's mission—from concept through final delivery
- Leads pre-production and on-site production planning, scripting, interview prep, and direction of shoots
- Edits long- and short-form video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and related tools
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define objectives, manage timelines, and align with brand goals
- Incorporates motion graphics, music, voiceover, and sound design; maintains organized post-production workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional video production experience with documentary-style storytelling for digital and broadcast platforms
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience leading end-to-end production processes (scripting, interviewing, directing on set, editing)
- Ability to direct talent, including patients, families, researchers, and executives
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of inclusive storytelling and DEI best practices
- Familiarity with AI video tools and integration into human-centered creative process
