About the role

  • Work with or possibly lead groups of architects and designers to complete technical portions of projects within established budgets and schedules.
  • Manage technical aspects of projects ensuring compliance with design standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
  • Support the development of infrastructure that improves communities across the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited Architectural program
  • Licensed Architect in Tennessee with current registration or licensed in another state with ability to obtain TN licensure
  • Experience designing commercial or industrial facilities
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering a range of projects from concept through detailed design completion.
  • Experience with International Building Code (IBC)
  • Producing specifications and reviewing work of other staff for technical accuracy and provide guidance
  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness
  • Ability to Follow established Amentum quality procedures and ensures that all work accomplished under their control is accomplished under established quality procedures
  • Experience working within a quality system based on ISO 9000 or NQA-1
  • Competent using discipline specific software such as: Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation, etc…
  • Competent using Microsoft 365 software.
  • US citizen required.
