About the role
- Negotiate, draft, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of commercial contracts, including sales, distribution, and cloud-based platform and technology agreements.
- Manage and improve the Company’s contract lifecycle process and help implement systems or processes to increase efficiency.
- Develop, enhance, and review policies and procedures related to contractual obligations and general healthcare laws.
- Serve in a generalist role supporting various corporate legal projects and provide other general legal advice as directed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to provide legal guidance that supports business goals while managing risk.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Act with integrity, upholding strong business and personal ethical standards.
- Represent the company in legal matters as appropriate and as directed.
Requirements
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with special emphasis on drafting and negotiating skills and the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining an open-minded approach.
- Ability to support increasing commercial contract demands related to international and domestic corporate expansion.
- Strong organizational and planning skills and the capacity to simultaneously handle a variety of complex, sensitive and confidential matters.

- Business-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- J.D. from a recognized, accredited US law school with strong academic credentials and membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 2 to 4 years practicing as an attorney in a well-regarded law firm and experience with a life sciences company, and/or a reputable, highly rated law firm with a focus on representing life science companies, or a combination of both.
- Knowledge of and experience with data privacy laws and regulations (including HIPAA and GDPR) preferred.
- Must be eligible for and maintain credentials at required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).
