About the role

  • Manage all phases of litigation, pre-litigation disputes, and responses to third-party or government inquiries; develop and execute case strategy with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
  • Advise on global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA); manage data privacy compliance program and maintain privacy policy and related notices.
  • Growth opportunities to support trade compliance (export controls and sanctions), compliance, and bankruptcy matters.
  • Develop and implement processes, legal resources, templates, and training materials to increase the Legal team's effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal and regulatory developments to provide robust and forward-looking legal advice.
  • Serve as a trusted, pragmatic business partner and mentor to junior Legal team members.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or equivalent international qualification.
  • 4-9 years of experience in a similar or relevant role at a top law firm or company.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Solution-oriented mindset able to work with teams to ensure they are able to accomplish their objectives while still meeting standards.
  • Ability to manage and advise senior leadership.
  • Strong preference for relevant litigation and privacy experience.
